Some wonderful areas in Central Oregon that you should take extra time to visit and discover the various real estate opportunities are Bend, Sunriver, Caldera Springs, La Pine and Three Rivers South.

Bend is the largest city in Central Oregon and is one of the fastest growing cities of the country. Bend was once a small sleepy mill town now it is a modern city offering culture, nature and technology. The skyline of Bend is always beautiful with a view from many areas of the Cascade Mt. Range .

Bend like most cities has many styles of living, but all the residents of Bend have the opportunity to enjoy the many parks many of which the Big Deschutes River runs though many of, skiing at Mt. Bachelor , shopping and a multitude of restaurants.

Sunriver, known as a destination resort it is also a perfect place to live. Sunriver is a planned community with a lot of common space, bike paths, great dining and tennis courts. Sunriver is bordered by the Big Deschutes River and Public land.

Whether you are vacationing or living in Sunriver there is a lot to do inside and outside the resort. Mt. Bachelor is only 18 miles and offers some of the best skiing in the country. The Cascades Lakes Hwy is easily accessed where you will find great outdoor recreation such as fishing, boating and hiking.

Three Rivers South is considered to be part of Bend ; this area is easily identified as the area south of Sunriver and North of La Pine State Recreational Park. This area is mostly populated with full time residences and offers family living on half acre to acre lots, although there are a few larger parcels too.

Nature is all around you in the Three Rivers Area it is common place to have native creatures such as deer and elk stroll through your yard as you sit on your deck enjoying an evening barbeque.

La Pine is one of the newest cities in Oregon.  In 2006 the community voted to incorporate and on January 1, 2007 The City of La Pine became a reality. La Pine is a close knit community that offers mostly single family residence on acre lots. Recently many developers have created neighborhoods with smaller parcels allowing for a lot less maintenance.
