Many of the buyers out there looking for down payment assistance should read up on this subject. Congress has voted to remove the down payment assistance as of October 1, 2008. I trust and read a lot of what a lender in NJ has to say about FHA lending - his name is Jeff Belonger he is an FHA expert and tonight he wrote about the down payment assistance.

    Hi Thesa,

    I have not seen you on the rain lately so thought I would come and search you out. I keep hoping some miracle will happen and this down payment assistance will return. I guess time will tell.
