The Village At Sunriver Update For October 25

by Thesa Chambers, Principal Broker on October 25, 2007

The Village at Sunriver has caused a few people to question the intentions and plans of SilverStar.  I am a REALTOR® in Sunriver and have concerns too, but in general do believe that with the other options and past history of the Mall this can be a great thing for Sunriver.

Today, Blogger, Circle 8, who posts on The Sunriver Report posted what may be interesting to other that have concerns over the Mall.  Read the entire post and comment here

John, who is claiming to be the new developer of the Sunriver Village, posted an excellent comment on this blog which deserves its own post. Although I cannot verify who the writer of the comment actually is, it seems entirely legit and has a wealth of information which could probably only come from the developer. This is a super important read for everyone concerned with the new developments at Sunriver. Please read and respond.

I found this to be an interesting article that those of you that have followed my posts may find it interesting too.

Re-development of a mall area or old apartment or office complex always raises so many concerns. Some people resist any change, even good changes like redevlopment of an existing property. ‘Hope this one turns out well for your area.

Thesa – This will probably be an ongoing debate between those who see the need for improvement and those who don’t want the growth. We have the same thing going on here in some areas. Many want to keep the small town feel, while growth is necessary. – Paula
